A few words from the Captain ...  
At this year's open house we'll be sailing on the Love Your Heart Boat and you can be a "Life Preserver" and win by answering five questions correctly in our trivia game. Just like last year, we'll have an "Ask the Audience" lifeline available for contestants. The trivia questions will cover topics such as the Texas Heart Institute, the THI Library & Learning Resource Center, Houston, the Love Boat and other cruise ships, Be a life preserver at the open house.and seafaring, along with a few surprises.

ISHLT

Mechanical Circulatory Support - ISHLT Monograph Series  
The first six volumes of the ISHLT Monograph Series have arrived. This annual publication from the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation covers transplantation issues as well as treatment of end-stage heart disease, and includes one monograph dedicated to mechanical circulatory support, edited by THI's Dr. O.H. "Bud" Frazier.

Stop by the library to take a look at these or other books just added to the collection.
