Question:
What should we do about my husband's enlarged aorta?
My husband has been told to get some imaging done for enlarged aorta. Should we change our habits as far as hot tub, sun and lifting? I just bought kayaks. Should I be concerned? Thank you for your time.

It really depends on the cause of the enlargement. Also, it depends on how enlarged it is and whether it is causing symptoms, is continuing to enlarge, and the age of your husband. He really needs to talk to his cardiologist. This could be a relatively benign condition or a harbinger of a serious condition.
