Making Healthy Food Choices: Go Heart!
Goal
The students will understand that personal health decisions and behavior affect their health. They will recognize that the body needs foods from all the food groups in order to receive the nutrients it needs to grow and stay healthy.
Instructional Objectives
- Students will identify the basic food groups.
- Students will discriminate healthy food choices from unhealthy food choices
- Students will describe the effects of eating too much fat and sugar.
