July 14, 2022 – Two Texas Heart Medical Group physicians have been honored by Texas Monthly as 2022 Texas Super Doctors®: Rising Stars in the July issue of the magazine.

Texas Monthly and Super Doctors® released the latest list of Texas Rising Stars, which recognizes medical professionals who are already making an impact early in their careers.

Drs. Briana Costello and Alexander Postalian, both graduates of the renowned Texas Heart Institute’s cardiology fellowship training programs, join the prestigious list of doctors their colleagues trust most with their own care.

Each year, thousands of medical professionals in Texas are asked to nominate one or more doctors who they would recommend to their own families.

The Rising Stars designation is only bestowed upon 2.5% of all active Texas-based physicians. Honorees are selected by their peers and verified through evaluations and independent research.

The list was launched 11 years ago to specifically recognize younger physicians as Texas Super Doctors, which publishes its main list each December.

“It is a special honor for these physicians to be nominated by their peers to receive recognition at this stage of their career and we are immensely proud of Drs. Costello and Postalian,” said Dr. Eduardo Hernandez, Texas Heart Medical Group President.
