The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) has named The Texas Heart Institute President and CEO Joseph G. Rogers, MD, as the new Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation (JHLT).

Dr. Rogers, a past president of the ISHLT, will formally begin his tenure as Editor-in-Chief on July 1, 2024. He is recognized for his commitment to research and clinical practices that improve outcomes for patients with advanced heart and lung failure.
