The 1^st Annual Perioperative MCS Symposium is a 2-day hybrid course. The symposium will take advantage of modern educational concepts to provide clinically relevant material through an inter-professional and multidisciplinary approach to the perioperative management of patients undergoing mechanical circulatory support. In addition, a complementary advanced critical care echocardiography (CCE) workshop will be offered. The highly interactive approach puts the learner in the position of the clinician needing to make simple, thorough, and complex decisions commonly faced when providing mechanical circulatory support (MCS) and utilizing CCE.
