We will review the emerging trends in Healthcare, the value proposition of patient-centric care delivery, along with an overview of the important role of the physician-leaders in shaping these value strategies and the work that is being done in CommonSpirit Health CV service line.

At the conclusion of the activity a participant should be able to:

  1. Discuss the impact and the need to participate in leading change in health care delivery
  2. Identify the limitations and complexity of defining value in healthcare
  3. Discuss CommonSpirit CVSL physicians lead advancement of quality and financial stewardship

Texas Heart Institute Grand Rounds is an esteemed tradition that attracts leading experts from around the world each year. Texas Heart Institute Grand Rounds is hosted in the Denton A. Cooley Auditorium at 6770 Bertner Avenue in Houston, TX.

Series attendees include Cardiology Fellows and Faculty, members of the Departments of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Surgery, as well as visitors from other clinical and teaching institutions in the Texas Medical Center. We live broadcast Grand Rounds for online viewing on any desktop computer or mobile device.
