Does taking salt help interrupt an episode of atrial fib?
I had an episode of AFIB last night and tried a glass of orange juice with 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Is this remedy still valid? I did convert fairly quickly, but would like to know why the salt? I thought the goal was to eliminate salt.

Nonsense. Salt (sodium) load may be harmful. That practice should not be done
