I have Incomplete Right Bundle Branch Block (IRBBB). Can I take Lexapro?
Hello, I was hoping that a cardiologist could answer my question. Was recently diagnosed with Incomplete Right Bundle Branch Block & suffer from anxiety. Recently have been debating going back on 5-10mg of Lexapro (took a 2 yr hiatus) but am concerned about cardiovascular side effects, especially QT prolongation which is listed as a potential side effect. Aside from that, they say I’m a healthy 37 year old male. Thoughts on taking Lexapro & IRBBB?

There is no contraindication to taking Lexapro with IRBBB. There is no contraindication to taking Lexapro in the presence of IRBBB, nor does IRBBB have anything to do with QT interval. An ECG could tell you if you have any QT abnormality.
