Question:

Is there a relationship between untreated sleep apnea and right axis deviation on EKG?

I need to know if untreated sleep apnea is in any way related to an ECG showing a right axis deviation with undetermined sinus rhythm. If so, then I will need a NEXUS opinion and statement showing the relationship.

The short answer is probably not. It would depend on the severity and duration of the sleep apnea and whether any other cause for the ECG abnormality is present. A more definitive answer requires further evaluation.
