What surgery would most commonly be done for my daughter’s large VSD?
Hello, my daughter was born with a congenital heart defect. Very large VSD (ventricular septal defect) almost 85% missing which is further complicated with a smaller, right ventricle. What would be the most common procedures performed on this kind of congenital heart disease?

The repair depends mostly on the judgment of the operating surgeon. In some instances, a large patch of fabric or pericardium can provide good function.
