Mummy Study suggests cholesterol laden plaque has been present since ancient times
To gain insight into the heart health of our ancestors, researchers at Texas Heart Institute, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and University of Kentucky utilized a noninvasive imaging technique to study atherosclerotic lesions of ancient mummies.
