Anthony (Tony) K. Jones, FACHE, has a great passion for overseeing the healthcare delivery system of CHI.  Over the years, he has led multiple healthcare organizations resetting their strategic direction, and improving their operational and financial performance. Several of these organizations were subsequently recognized as “Top 100 Hospitals in the Nation” and “Top 100 Most Improved Hospitals in Nation” by Truven.

His leadership experience includes serving in numerous executive leadership capacities at United Healthcare, University Medical Center, Dimensions Health, St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Tenent Health, and State University of New York (SUNY) at Brooklyn.

Mr. Jones is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He earned a master’s degree in Health Administration from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a bachelor’s degree in Business from Abilene Christian University in Garland, Texas. He is certified in LEAN Management and Six Sigma and has served on the adjunct faculties in Health and Hospital Administration at Central Michigan University, Governors State University, and State University of New York at Brooklyn.  An accomplished writer in his own right, he authored one of ACHE Health Administration Press’ best-selling books, “Leading a Successful Hospital Turnaround.”
