Ava Leggett
Ava Leggett works as a Research Assistant I for the Cardiovascular Pathology Lab. She graduated from Baylor University in May of 2024 with a Bachelors of Arts in Medical Humanities on the Pre-Medicine track, as well as with a minor in Spanish. She is notably interested in researching different mechanisms of heart disease and learning how to conduct new, innovative laboratory experiments. She feels honored to be a part of The Texas Heart Institute team and to aid in the rigorous pursuit of cardiovascular experimentation and innovation.
