Texas Monthly’s annual Super Doctors® list is out on the newsstands this month and honors professionals who have been recognized by their peers for their exceptional contributions to the fields of medicine. We are proud to announce that the 2022 list includes 25 Professional Staff members of The Texas Heart Institute, including four Rising Stars.

Nominations are made by other doctors or are identified by the Super Doctors’ research committee. Nominees go through a thorough selection process that evaluates them based on ten indicators of professional accomplishment. Only around five percent of specialists in Texas receive the honor of being named to the Super Doctors list. Practitioners with less than 10 years in practice are eligible for the Rising Stars list which includes less than 2.5 percent of eligible doctors.
