Stomp Out Stroke Festival
Houston’s Best Brain Day!
Stomp Out Stroke Festival is a collaborative event hosted by UTHealth and supported by the many institutions in the Texas Medical Center and organizations across Houston. On this day, we come together to educate the community about stroke. Why?
- Stroke is the No. 5 cause of death in the US and someone has a stroke about once every 40 seconds.
- Stroke is the leading preventable cause of disability.
- Knowing the signs and symptoms is critical.
Bring your family and friends to help raise stroke awareness in Houston. Learn your stroke risk and how to reduce that risk. The festival is family-friendly, open to the public with free admission offering stroke and brain health education, nutrition and fitness demonstrations, free health screenings, games, entertainment and music.

Registration: Free, Registration Required, Onsite registration will also be available the day of the event for walk-ins.
