At The Texas Heart Institute, we offer opportunities for a challenging career and development in cardiovascular research and education. Our physicians, scientists and engineers conduct research ranging from gene therapy, stem cells, and regenerative medicine, to ventricular assist devices (VADs) and artificial hearts. Visit our Research Departments to learn more about the current trials and research projects.

As a volunteer, you will donate time and energy to provide many vital services to visitors, staff and community outreach. Our volunteers include high school and college students, as well as working and retired adults, who contribute their unique talents, gifts, and compassion. Applications to volunteer are accepted through our secure online portal.
