The Texas Heart Institute brought #WALK30 to Houston’s ‘Largest Office Party’ 5K at Memorial Park hosted by HESS

The Texas Heart Institute and The Texas Heart Institute Center for Cardiovascular Care had a fantastic time participating in Houston’s ‘Largest Office Party’ 5K at Memorial Park hosted by HESS. With over 8,000 participants from 200+ companies, this year set a new record for attendance.

The event, which promotes corporate wellness and employee team building, has become one of the largest corporate runs in the country. It was a great opportunity for our team to come together and enjoy some friendly competition while also supporting the Memorial Park Conservancy. The atmosphere was electric with excitement, and the weather was perfect.

“The HESS 5K was a meaningful experience for our doctors, scientists, nurses, researchers, creative teams, and administrators alike. We are proud to support a cause that promotes health and wellness in the workplace, and it served as a reminder of the importance of taking care of our cardiovascular health,” said Keri Sprung, who served as the Team Captain this year.

THI is already looking forward to next year’s event and hopes to inspire even more participants to join in the fun.  The HESS fun run truly lives up to its reputation as Houston’s ‘Largest Office Party’, and The Texas Heart Institute was proud to have been a part of it.
