The Texas Heart Institute Journal: Volume 50, Issue 6
The Texas Heart Institute Journal is an online peer-reviewed, international journal covering the broad field of cardiovascular diseases. The Journal aims to be a highly reputable and well-balanced reference that highlights practical techniques and pathways of care and delivers high-impact scientific contributions from clinicians in all disciplines of cardiovascular medicine. Subjects include coronary, peripheral, structural, and congenital heart disease, and cardiovascular anesthesia. The Journal publishes original research contributions, editorials, reviews, meta-analyses, case reports, images, and letters to the editor.
In 2023, we introduced important updates to The Journal with Volume 50, Issue 1. The most striking changes include a modified logo and a switch to blue accents. More importantly, article formats are structured to deliver messages more concisely (see New Author Instructions for details).
Please consider submitting your research results and other scientific contributions to The Journal. Authorship is open to all clinicians and research scientists with an interest in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Moreover, our continuous publication schedule enables articles to be published within six to eight weeks of acceptance.
We also encourage you to read The Journal to keep up to date on what is happening in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
