THI Cool-E Robot’s First Magazine Cover
The Texas Medical Center (TMC) kicked off the year with a heartfelt article about the many mascots across the TMC lifting spirits in the community. The Cool-E Robot, named after our founder and world-renowned cardiovascular surgeon and heart transplant pioneer Dr. Denton A. Cooley, joined several mascots for the December magazine cover shoot – Cool-E’s first!
“In 2020, our newly rebooted Cool-E robot will roam the halls and streets to engage kids and families and inspire our future leaders in science, technology, engineering, and medicine,” said Keri Sprung, Director of Communications, Texas Heart Institute.
