WomenHeart Champion and THI Women’s Center Ambassador Tannie Coward shared her heart story with the Insider last week. Tannie empowers women with heart failure to advocate and prioritize their health.

Since graduating from the WomenHeart program in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown, Tannie has been an influential voice for women and highlighted the critical need to address health equity and disparity issues for Black and Latina women.
